A White Ides of March
So for some reason, this past winter in SoCal was rather boring, not too cold and the rain season was shorter than the lines for Ultraviolet. Perhaps there r deeper more scientific explanations to such things, but the Wang brushed it off as another one of this freakishly extreme/non-extreme weather events known so well to the California area.
Then there was this past weekend. Some time during the early bits of march, SoCal decided to throw us a cold one. Even the official folks claims that it was a lot of rain and snow.
Some where in the mid to high 30s in most of the northern bits of LA. Infact the Wang drove through a part of the mountains that was snow/hail covered. And late at the night, the Wang’s wangmobile (that’s not actually the Wang’s car, but who knows other ppl also call theirs the wangmobile…), woke up in the night with a layer of ice ontop.
Good friend, Rob da Web Master even posted his pictures of Hail in Santa Cruz.
So ya it was cold. The Wang retreated to the warmeth of his comforter and fleece. Cause the wang likes warm places… oh and rain, the Wang likes Warm and humid places. I think this euphemism is dead… like the Wang has ran it too deep.
Ok I promise that's it.

This weekend was also filled with the first ever, Hawaiian B-day party thrown by the wang. Well technically not “thrown" by the Wang, more so the Wang was a big part of it. The Wang had to gather most of the food, by cooking, baking and mixing for hours buying it from the local Hawaiian BBQ store. And the Wang also had the duty of making sure all the participants had some sort of Hawaiian clothing. It didn’t help that it was like the coldest day in LA, so ever the ladies who showed up in Hawaii mini skirts, ended up in jeans by 40 degrees. And of course the Tiki torches were wasted as very few of us wanted to stand in the cold and the wind, just to watch them burn. Though there was a glorious moment of Sparklers. Still the Wang found time to worship the Chocolate fountain and had some Guava and Haupia cakes, also with sparklers, since we had no candles.

And if u r lucky enough, this is the week of SXSW. Legends of tasty girls and hawt BBQ plagues the Lonestar state, one day the Wang will make it out there. But for now, we can expect the Musical blog scene to be loaded with live tracks come next week! Prepare the download engines!
