I have returned...

The Wang is Back!!

Well its not like the Wang really went anywhere, maybe just to hide himself in the comfort of some where warm and cozy. But anyways after a the past week of bashing xmen3 and trying to focus on everything that’s not work, the Wang haven’t been blogging much. So in the big big return, the Wang has a whole load of crap, some good, some that just got snuck in as good, and some just sheer old crap that the Wang just put in due to drunkenness or bad taste. Still the interweb is constantly full of stuff and the Wang only has soo much reading time. So besides big events like the World Cup or the NBA playoffs, here are some of the other things that are of interest on the interweb:

Laukosargas Svarog and her self-sustaining island in Second Life. Its an scripted Ecosystem, with bees, birds, and bats.

McKenzie Wark has basically put his future book, GAM3R 7H30RY online for critique and open discussion. Rather neat stuff, the method and the book. The Wang has only read the first chapter so far, but it’s a comparison of the “Allegory of the Cave" and videogames vs. reality.

Alien vs. Predator: Shower Wars

Poor man’s version of the Bellagio water show. Done with Diet coke and Mentos.

Ok so the Wang is wrong, after watching the crap fest that is Xmen3, the Wang clearly stated that Ben Foster who plays Angel, had the biggest, “I’m too gay for this closet look." But, guess what, he’s apparently not and he’s all over Ellen Page.

Not that the Wang is much for destruction, but watching a BMW get chewed up by a shredder is rather serene.

And how did the Wang miss this?

If the wang was to die right now, he would want to do it between that little space between these two fine women.

In another “I’m not directing anything anymore" move, Luc besson, one of the Wang’s favorite directors, brings us another Transporter-esque film, District B13 (checkout the “video" for a trailer). Luc Besson just keeps writing these Car/fighting movies… Though this one is an old on in France, the Wang just caught his attention to the hip hop action style that is so true to Luc’s films. Though this one seems to feature that trend of them jumping ppl...

Natalie Dee gives us blatantly simple humor like:

Nintendo sure has a sense of humor, besides dominating the portal market, they decide to give every preview shipment of the new Nintendo DS Lite a little surprise when u first get it.

First Person shooters are always on the fore-front of graphic tech. Check out these pics for some upcoming FPS game called Crysis:

Steven Colbert delivers the Knox College commencement speech

Rock On Vader!! (Gnarls Barkely @ MTV Movie Awards)

06/06/06, 6:59am 6lb 6oz = Demon child.

Now u can get pregnant and have a child in 2 weeks time… in Second Life

Gizmodo covers something called Computex, all the wang can say, is “Are there any girls there?!"

THANKYOUs:

Game Girl Advance, AFK Gamer, The Dij, Zibacco, Thighs wide Shut, Boing Boing, Joystiq, Datawhat?!, Games Set watch and arempire5
