Food Coma

The Wang has been mostly gone in a long turkey coma. Not to say that there was a lot of food, but the Wang, and many of his Bay Area friends all ended up with new tech gadgets due to the release of the next gen consoles that all came to the market this Holiday season. The Wang snag up for him self a Nintendo Wii and a Xbox 360. The former mostly for Zelda and the later mostly for Gears of War. Though without turning this post into a video game review event, the Wang has to say the Wii has potential. The included game of Wii Sport is rather fun, and had the ability to lure some of the female populace into competitive Tennis games. Let the Wang just add that when women get competitive in sports games, its an ugly sight… unless of course there is kissing at the end. (speaking of which the new Season of L word is coming back to Showtime… not the Wang watches such shows, but just u know… to let u know.)
Oh the other hand the visually impressive Gears of War bring a new style of game play to FPS on the 360, which 1 yr after its launch really needed some more kick to match up with the 2 new systems this season. Gears of War does infact give some life to the system, as personally, the Wang feels that the 360 really has a small library of games. Still though Gears of War is a FPS that focuses on hiding and tactics, which is rather refreshing from all the recent pop shoot-em-with-the-biggest-gun-while-I-bunny-hop games.
One thing the Wang has noticed. All these systems seems to be very well linked to a online community. The 360 shines here with its most defined online community where one can add patches, download more content, and play any game over the Xbox Live environment. The Wang even did a few rounds of Uno and classic Gauntlet on the Live environment. The Wii however is still new, and very few online “channels" seems to be working. Hopefully the internet browser and future channels will make the Wii’s online experience more friendly and meaningful.
All that aside, the Wang does have a whole bunch of iNet gems waiting to unload. So for those u that are still here, paw style!
What if women walked around the house like we do? Not really SFW:

Currently the Wang is stuck on the Silversun Pickups. The Wang neglected them when they use to residence @ Spaceland which was like in the Wang’s backyard. Now the Wang cant seem to get a ticket to there shows. Their latest album Carnavas is pretty damn addictive, not to mention the EP before, Pikul is also rather indie catchy. Pikul include great songs like: Kissing Family, in which, Nikki Monninger gets to angrily jump around like an American Apparels commercial, but with less biting.
Here’s a video of them on Letterman:
